Fresh beans to your door!
UPDATE: January 15, 2019
Texas is awesome! Getting all moved and set-up is not. I've had some delays; software, electricians, and now a bad PCB board. I'm not even 100% sure what that is, but a new one is on the way! And my fearless husband is going to install it. I'm hoping to be up and running in the next 7-14 days. I'll keep you posted!
UPDATE: November 18, 2019
Thanks everyone! The orders are shipped and I am off to Texas! I will send out an email when I am set-up again in a few weeks. Bon Voyage
UPDATE: The Bon Voyage blend has sailed! Wow, you were all ready for some coffee! I'm sorry if you missed out. There is still some Sumatra available. I will try to get more coffee in stock after I get moved.

I am doing one final California roast tomorrow November 12th before I pack up the rest of my equipment. I will be roasting a blend and espresso. Hopefully there is enough to go around and I hope you have a wonderful holiday season with your loved ones!
J. Thaddeus is movin' to Texas! This will mean some major changes for my little operation. I hope to reopen in the future, but for now I do not have any coffee in stock and I will not have a roaster set-up until after Christmas.
Thank you to everyone that supported this venture of mine for the last few years! And feel free to drop me a line letting me know what amazing coffees you discover out there, since I may take this opportunity to see what other roaster's are doing.
About the Coffee I Roast
I believe in affordable luxuries. I am a busy mother of four and I look forward to life's little pleasures that get me through the day. I want coffee that is so good, I go to bed each night looking forward to waking up to it.
I order, roast and taste new beans on a regular basis to find my very favorites. Each one of the coffees offered represents several coffees that were roasted to different profiles and tasted until one knocked my socks off. As a small company I can change it up as often as I want. I am all about the holiday blends and celebrating the seasons. I also love a good single origin coffee that can stand on its own.
Last but not least I believe in buying coffee that is responsibly sourced. The importer I work with often negotiates prices directly with farmers (that are higher than Fair Trade) and has relationships that have lasted decades. The Farm Gate program gets money directly to farmers and is better than Fair Trade, which is a certification only attainable by coops, not individual farmers.
